A hardcopy of the plot area can be sent to a printer or file. The file can either be in PS (Postscript), or CGM (Computer Graphics Metafile) format. CGM files are useful for exporting to other software, such as MS Word. The file format is set in Graphics Defaults.
By default output is sent to a printer, so to print to a file make sure the check button is set. The printer is selected via the "Printer:" combo box, and a description of the currently selected printer is shown beneath, which may include the physical location of the printer if available.
